Arsenal FC transfer news: Arsene Wenger willing to let Mathieu Debuchy leave for free this summer

Arsenal are reportedly willing to let out-of-favour full-back Mathieu Debuchy leave the club on a free transfer, despite the Frenchman having a year left on his contract.
The 31-year-old, who slipped further down the pecking order at the Emirates last season, is almost certain to leave the club this summer in search of regular first-team football.
And while Arsenal are angling to recoup a large portion of the £12m they spent on signing Debuchy back in 2014, latest reports have suggested that the Gunners may well let the defender leave on a free.
According to L'Equipe, Debuchy is firmly out of manager Arsene Wenger's plans and and transfer fee will not be demanded ahead of a summer move elsewhere.
The full-back has not lost hope of winning a spot in the France squad for next year's World Cup, but knows to have any chance he must be playing week in, week out.
