Ipswich send promising youngster Michael Crowe to Woking on loan

Promising Ipswich goalkeeper Michael Crowe has joined Woking on loan until the end of the season

Promising Ipswich goalkeeper Michael Crowe has joined Woking on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old is yet to make his senior debut for Ipswich but was named among the substitutes at the weekend when they beat Watford.

But with Paddy Kenny and Dean Gerken both now approaching full fitness, the Wales Under-19 star will find his first-team opportunities further limited at Portman Road.

So Ipswich have decided to let Crowe join Conference side Woking until the summer so he can gain much-needed experience.
