Manchester United transfer report: Wolfsburg declare interest in Anthony Martial loan deal

Wolfsburg have declared an interest in signing Manchester United forward Anthony Martial on loan, according to reports in Germany.

The France international's future has come under scrutiny in recent weeks, despite United's insistence of not wanting to sell the player this summer.

Serie A giants Roma have made enquires about Martial, while Inter Milan have also proposed a deal involving United target Ivan Perisic.

And it seems interest in Martial is only heating up as, according to Kicker, Wolfsburg are interested in taking the forward on loan ahead of next season.

United remain adamant they want to retain the 21-year-old, while the Frenchman's wage demands are also likely to cause issues for the German side.

With transfer targets still up in the air, United boss Jose Mourinho is unlikely to want to sanction any deal involving Martial until things become clearer later in the window.
