Aston Villa have agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund for the signing of Donyell Malen, talkSPORT understands.

The Villans will pay an initial £22 million, with a further £2m in add-ons.

The Dutch international is a versatile forward who can play on either wing or down the middle.

He has 41 caps for his country and signed for Dortmund in the summer of 2021 from PSV Eindhoven.

Malen has been consistently involved for his side this season, making 21 appearances in all competitions.

However, Dortmund have decided to cash in, and he will be on his way to England for a medical soon.

  • He said, no, no, no

talkSPORT understands Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has rejected any potential move to Saudi Arabia.

Pep Guardiola revealed on Saturday that the England international had asked to leave the Etihad after joining the club in 2017.

He has his sights set on a move to AC Milan, with the Italian giants prepared to offer him a two-and-a-half year contract.

Talks between the Citizens and Milan are expected to ramp up this week as all parties look for a quick solution.

  • German adventure

talkSPORT understands that Manchester City midfielder James McAtee is wanted by several German clubs.

The 22-year-old scored a hat-trick at the weekend for City in the FA Cup against Salford City, with the Citizens winning 8-0.

However, with game time limited for McAtee, he is keen on a January move.

Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen are among those to have inquired about his availability.

However, Mainz want a permanent deal for McAtee.

  • End of the road

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has admitted he's unsure if Marcus Rashford has played his last game for the club.

There was once again no sign of the forward in Man United's matchday squad for their win over Arsenal in the FA Cup.

After a 1-1 draw at the Emirates, the ten-man Red Devils came out 5-3 victors in a penalty shootout.

It was a great win for Amroim and co, but there was no Rashford.

His agents and the club are actively seeking a January exit, with Premier League clubs and Italian teams monitoring the situation.

And after another game without him being in the squad, Amorim was asked if he'd played his final match for the Red Devils.

He said: “I don’t know. We’ll see. He is a player for Manchester United. We’ll see. He has to work."
