TRANSFER ALERT! Stoke favourites to land Paris Saint-Germain flop Jese Rodriguez

Stoke City have moved to the top of queue for Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese Rodriguez, according to reports in Italy.

The 24-year-old has been made available for a transfer by the Ligue 1 giants after shelling out a world-record £199milion fee for Neymar from Barcelona.

Fiorentina had been considered favourites to sign the Spaniard on a two-year loan with an option to make a deal permanent.

But according to La Nazione, Jese would prefer a move to the Premier League and is believed to have held talks with Mark Hughes’ side over a potential transfer.

The Potters are in the market for attacking reinforcements after allowing Marko Arnautovic and Jon Walters leave the club.

Jese spent the second half of last season on loan with LaLiga side Las Palmas after failing to impress in France following his €22million move from Real Madrid.
