Manchester United line up v Crystal Palace: Van Persie and Di Maria OUT

Robin van Persie and Angel Di Maria have been ruled out of Manchester United's trip to face Crystal Palace.

The two key players for United have been struggling for form recently, most notably Red Devil's record signing Di Maria.

Dutch forward Van Persie also missed a penalty in the defeat to West Brom last week, and boss Louis van Gaal has been forced to leave both players out of the squad to face the Eagles.

The club confirmed in the match build-up that Di Maria picked up an unspecified problem during training on Wednesday, while Van Persie is a victim of a virus which has reportedly swept through the squad this week.
