Deportivo La Coruna 0-3 Real Madrid: Gareth Bale, Casemiro and Toni Kroos all on target as Los Blancos cruise to win

Real Madrid made light work of Deportivo La Coruna as Gareth Bale, Casemiro and Toni Kroos all struck to hand Zinedine Zidane’s side an opening LaLiga win - despite another Sergio Ramos red card.

Los Blancos were without star man Cristiano Ronaldo, following his suspension for pushing the referee during the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup, but his absence didn’t hinder the star-studded Galacticos.

Bale silenced his doubters by opening the scoring for the reigning league champions after 20 minutes as he turned home following goalkeeper Ruben Martinez’s mistake.

The ever-impressive Casemiro was on hand to strike six yards out from Marcelo’s cross, seven minutes after the Welshman’s opener, to give Real a two goal advantage.

Kroos added a third after 62 minutes to complete the scoring as  Zidane’s men made a positive start to their title defence.

However, an otherwise perfect night was spoilt when Ramos picked up a second yellow card in injury time after raising his arm to Borja Valle.
