Liverpool suffer blow in race for Serie A star

Liverpool's hopes of signing Simone Scuffet have been dashed after Udinese revealed he will be their number one goalkeeper next season.
The 18-year-old has been tipped for a big future and has already been likened to Italian legend Gianluigi Buffon.
This season the youngster has played second fiddle to Orestis Karnezis as he continues his development.
But, Udinese director Andrea Carnevale has revealed that will change next season as Scuffet becomes the Italian club's number one goalkeeper.
"Karnezis could've gone to Benfica last summer, but Andrea Stramaccioni decided to focus on his international experience," Carnevale told TeleRadioStereo.
"Now he can go to a more important club. Our future is Simone Scuffet.
"We've been preserving him, as a season working as understudy to Karnezis has helped him to grow."
