Boost for Liverpool and Newcastle! France star holds fire on Dynamo Moscow contract

Liverpool and Newcastle have been given a boost in their pursuit of Andre-Pierre Gignac after the striker told Dynamo Moscow to increase their offer.
The France international is a free agent this summer after refusing to extended his contract with Marseille.
His decision to do so has sparked interest from numerous clubs, including Premier League sides Liverpool and Newcastle.
Both have reportedly contacted the 29-year-old's representatives, although it is Dynamo Moscow who have made the only concrete offer.
But, according to L'Equipe, that proposal is not up to scratch and Gignac has told the Russian club to come back with a higher offer.
Dynamo Moscow are said to have offered the Frenchman a three-year contract worth £7.5m, plus a signing on bonus of £1.4m.
