LISTEN: ‘Slaven Bilic looks lost as West Ham manager’, former defender Danny Gabbidon tells talkSPORT

Danny Gabbidon believes Slaven Bilic ‘looks lost’ as West Ham manager following their losing start to the new Premier League season.
The Hammers have tasted defeat in all three of their first games of the campaign - conceding ten goals and scoring just twice.
Their disastrous early form, which sees the London club sit rock-bottom of the table, has piled the pressure on Bilic again and reports claim he now has four games to save his job - starting with Huddersfield on Monday night.
Speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, former West Ham defender Gabbidon said: “Slaven looks like a man who is a little bit lost at the minute - lost for answers.
“He’s trying his very best to get the results and get the best out of the players, but it just doesn’t seem to be happening.
“They’ve had a poor start to the season and a lot of this has carried on from last year.
“It’s no secret to anyone that there seems to have been bit of a breakdown between the owners and the manager, and that’s s probably feeding down into the dressing room.
“Slaven would have loved to hit the ground running at the start of the season, but that hasn’t happened.
“It’s not just the manager’s fault, it’s a collective thing.
“It starts from the very top, with the relationship between the manager and the owners, and the players haven’t taken enough responsibility either, especially when you look at the early games of the season.
“Their defence is their biggest problem. The whole team looks very open at times, very easy to play against.
“They’ve got some really good attacking players and I don’t think they’ll have too many problems scoring goals, but the amount of goals they’ve been conceding…it’s one of their main problems which Bilic hasn’t been able to solve.”
