Arsenal youngster ready to start next chapter after Gunners release

Arsenal youngster Jack Jebb has thanked the Gunners after his 11-year stay at the club came to an end.

The youngster was released after over a decade of grooming in the academy but never broke into the first team.

Midfielder Jebb, 19, hoped to follow Jack Wilshere's route to the first team but, after loan spells at Stevenage, the north London club have released him.

"After 11 good years at Arsenal it's time to move on and start a new chapter of my football career and I cannot wait," he said.

"Just like to say thanks to the fans and everyone at Arsenal for everything. Sometimes you have to take 1 step back to take 2 steps forward."
