Premier League outfit Stoke City have reportedly agreed a £12 million fee with Inter Milan for Xherdan Shaqiri.

The 23-year-old midfielder only signed for the Serie A side in January, but it doesn't seem as though he will play any part in Roberto Mancini's long-term plans.

So you can forget the San Siro, the Switzerland international could be plying his trade at the Britannia Stadium next season, if he can agree personal terms with the Potters.

The former Bayern Munich and Basel midfielder's arrival would be a superb signing as manager Mark Hughes looks to raise the bar and challenge for a place in Europe during the forthcoming campaign.
