Atletico Madrid chase Manchester United and Tottenham Target Stefan Savic

Atletico Madrid are weighing up a move for Manchester United and Tottenham target Stefan Savic.

The former Manchester City defender, who joined Fiorentina in 2012, is rated at £10m by the Italian club and in high demand this summer.

Both United and Spurs have expressed an interest in signing him but now Atletico Madrid have joined the race, according to AS.

Diego Simeone wants to bring in more central defensive options following the sales of Toby Alderweireld to Tottenham and Joao Miranda to Inter Milan.

And Savic, still just 24, is said to feature high on the manager's wish list after three impressive seasons for Fiorentina, during which he has racked up a combined 86 appearances.

However Simeone could face competition from the Premier League should he make a move for the Montenegrin.
