Sevilla aim to lure Brighton transfer target Stevan Jovetic back to Spain

Sevilla are preparing a January swoop for Brighton target Stevan Jovetic.

A number of clubs attempted to sign the then Inter Milan striker as part of a summer-long tussle for his services.

In the end, Monaco won the race for the Montenegro international after beating off interest from Brighton and Sevilla.

But, according to Deportes Cope, Sevilla are now set to return for Jovetic when the transfer window opens in January.

The 27-year-old impressed during a loan spell with the Spanish club in the second half of last season.

Sevilla are keen on bringing Jovetic back to Spain but may meet reluctance from Monaco, who only signed him in the summer.
