West Ham reignite interest in Dynamo Moscow defender

West Ham are ready to rekindle their long-standing interest in Brazil-born defender Douglas but will face competition to land him from Galatasaray.
The Hammers were keen on the centre-back back in 2013 when he was at Twente but he decided to join Dynamo Moscow instead.
He has racked up 43 league outings since his arrival but has been heavily linked with a move away this summer.
Newcastle and Liverpool have also tracked the 27-year-old, who is entering the final year of his contract in Moscow, although it appeared that Inter Milan were set to enter the race to sign him.
But, according to sources in Italy, Inter have fallen behind the Hammers and Galatasaray who are now the frontrunners.
Galatasaray were interested in Tottenham defender Vlad Chiriches but now he looks set for Napoli, the Turkish club could switch their attention to Douglas.
And that could entice new Hammers boss Slaven Bilic to make his move.
