Liverpool took a giant step to the Champions League knockout stages with a comfortable win at home to Maribor.

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring after flicking on Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross before James Milner had a penalty saved.

Emre Can’s slick strike doubled their lead before Daniel Sturridge's emphatic finish sealed the victory as the Reds finished the night top of their group.
