Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City to miss out on free agent France international?

Montpellier are ready to make their move for Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City for Yoan Gourcuff, according to reports in France.

The 29-year-old is a free agent having come to the end of his Lyon deal and has been coveted by all three Premier League heavyweights.

There was also strong interest from within France, with the midfielder linked with an emotional return to his former club Bordeaux.

However, that reportedly fell through due to his high wage demands and he is still yet to arrange new employment.

But now fellow Ligue 1 side Montpellier have emerged as frontrunners in the race for his signature.

According to L'Equipe, Gourcuff will have a meeting with the club about a potential contract at the Stade de la Mosson on Friday.
