It’s been a while since Leeds United fans had something to celebrate but fans at Elland Road are getting excited after beating Everton 2-0 in a pre-season friendly.

Academy product Alex Mowatt got the first but Whites fans were hailing new striker Chris Wood as he thumped home the second from long range.

The New Zealander, who joined from Leicester City in a deal worth around £2.5million, appears to have made a big impact on his new supporters with his performance.
