CONFIRMED! Bournemouth sign former Leeds forward Max Gradel

Bournemouth have announced the signing of Max Gradel from St Etienne, subject to Premier League approval and international clearance

The former Leeds United forward has signed a four-year contract with the Cherries for an undisclosed fee, becoming Eddie Howe's seventh summer signing as the manager prepares for the club’s first ever Premier League campaign.

The 27-year-old Ivory Coast international is already familiar with life at the south coast club, having spent two loan spells with Bournemouth during the 2007-08 season, while he also has previous experience of working with Howe during his time as a coach at Leicester.

Gradel returns to the Cherries on the back of a successful season in France, scoring 17 goals in 23 starts to help St Etienne finish Ligue 1 in fifth place and qualify for the Europa League.
