Paul Clement not ruling out late signings for Derby County

Derby boss Paul Clement says he may still add to his squad before the transfer window shuts.

The Rams have already brought in seven players this summer as the former Real Madrid assistant manager looks to make his mark on the team.

But Clement has now also revealed that while no deals are close currently, he may still add to his side this summer.

"Well things are quiet at the moment and we really want to go ahead now with the squad we've got in place," said Clement.

"That is not to say nothing will happen, but at the moment things are quiet. It could be that we do something else and it could be that we don't.

"We are open to it. But as I say, I am happy with the squad I've got going into the first games."
