‘Who needs David De Gea? We’ve got Sergio Romero!’ Manchester United fans hail their new hero

Manchester United got their season off to a winning start at Old Trafford as they beat Tottenham 1-0 in the first Premier League game of the season.

The Red Devils blew hot and cold during the game, which was decided by a Kyle Walker own goal, but were largely dominant without threatening Michel Vorm’s goal too much.

And near the end, Sergio Romero, in for David De Gea, proved he could well be an adequate replacement if the Spaniard leaves, with a number excellent saves.
