Courtney: Kinnear could end up replacing Pardew at Newcastle

talkSPORT's north east correspondent Graham Courtney claims Newcastle director of football Joe Kinnear could end up replacing Alan Pardew as the manager of the Magpies.

St James' Park chief Mike Ashley has appointed the former Wimbledon boss in an executive position and has reportedly handed him responsibility for transfer dealings and the team's playing style.

And Courtney claims Newcastle could turn to the 66-year-old if Pardew decides to leave the club.
