Daniel Farke battling to save Leeds job despite winning Premier League promotion

Leeds could sack Daniel Farke despite achieving promotion from the Championship, talkSPORT understands.
The German manager secured the club's Premier League return on Monday after Burnley beat Sheffield United.
Farke's side could still win the title as they lead the Clarets on goal difference with two matches remaining.
However, Leeds are weighing up whether or not to keep Farke in charge for next season.
talkSPORT understands that the plan was for the owners to review the managerial situation at the end of the season, but have been impressed by his ruthless decision to drop Illan Meslier for the run-in.
It is understood that Farke does not fear being sacked.
The 48-year-old still has two years remaining on his contract at Elland Road following his appointment in 2023.
He guided the club to the Championship play-off final last term before sealing promotion this time around.
It is the third time Farke has been promoted to the Premier League after doing so twice with Norwich.
Leeds are believed to be concerned about his track record once in the top-flight, though.
Across 49 matches in the Premier League with the Canaries, Farke won just six times.
He won just one of his final 21 top flight fixtures before being dismissed in November 2021.
It followed relegation back to the Championship in the 2019/20 season just a year after promotion.
Leeds have yet to make a final decision on their manager's future, although candidates to replace him are being looked at.
The club's hierarchy are believed to be concerned at the possibility of Farke's exit backfiring next season.
Since joining Leeds in 2023, he has won 59 of his 102 matches in charge.
Those victories include a 6-0 win over Stoke on Monday which all-but-sealed promotion.
Following the match, Farke said: "To deliver such an emphatic performance is really amazing and all the credit goes to the boys for the way they have handled the situation and the spirit they have shown in recent weeks."
Their return to the Premier League was then confirmed a few hours later as the Blades failed to win at Turf Moor.
The newly-promoted side will be hoping to end the recent fortunes of club's coming up from the Championship.
Last season saw all three promoted teams suffer relegation for the first time since 1998.
Both Southampton and Leicester have already been relegated this term, with Ipswich on the brink of joining them.
