Liverpool outcast Mario Balotelli linked with Sevilla switch as Sampdoria turn to Dimitar Berbatov

Sampdoria have ended their interest in Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli and are now pursuing a deal for Dimitar Berbatov.
The Serie A side have been eyeing a move for Balotelli after the striker was told he is not wanted by boss Brendan Rodgers.
But Balotelli is not keen on a return to Italy and is reportedly eyeing a move to La Liga, with Sevilla leading the chase to land him on loan.
Sampdoria now look to have given up hope of luring Balotelli to the club having turned their attention to former Fulham and Manchester United striker Berbatov.
The 34-year-old is a free agent after being released by Monaco at the end of last season and, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Blucerchiati are ready to offer him a deal.
