The Championship Play-Off Final is one of the biggest games in English football, and four teams are eyeing a place in it.

The season has no come to an end, meaning the competing teams are set in place.

Sheffield United missed out on automatic promotion after Leeds United and Burnley confirmed their spots in the top two.

So, the Blades are now preparing for the play-offs instead, joining Sunderland in search of a place in the Premier League.

And they will be joined by Frank Lampard and Coventry City, who beat Middlesbrough 2-0 to take fifth place.

Sneaking into the play-offs in sixth are Bristol City, who managed a 2-2 draw against Preston to pip Millwall.

When is the Championship Play-off Final?

The 2024/25 Championship Play-Off Final will take place on Saturday, May 24, at Wembley Stadium.

A kick-off time for the game is yet to be officially confirmed.

Last year's big game was held on a Sunday at 3pm, while in 2023, the final started at the strange time of 4:45pm.

Which teams will play each other in play-offs?

The Play-Off Final will see the two semi-final winners meet at Wembley for a place in the Premier League.

Sheffield United are confirmed to be finishing third in the Championship, with Sunderland in fourth.

In the play-off semi-finals, third takes on sixth place and fourth faces fifth.

So, the Blades are facing Bristol City and Sunderland take on Coventry.
