Tottenham transfer report: Saint Etienne’s Jeremy Clement linked with White Hart Lane switch

Tottenham may launch a bid for Saint Etienne's Jeremy Clement, according to reports in France.

Mauricio Pochettino is thought to be unhappy with his current options in midfield following Spurs' winless start to their Premier League campaign.

Spurs have scouted Clement in the past and have now rekindled their interest in the defensive midfielder, claim France Football.

However, Saint Etienne are keen to keep hold of their man,  at least until after their Europa League play-off game against Milsami.

The 30-year-old has made 125 league appearances for the club since signing from Paris Saint-Germain in 2011.
