Manchester City transfer news: Jack Harrison joins Middlesbrough on loan until the end of the season

Middlesbrough have confirmed the signing of Manchester City youngster Jack Harrison on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old has experienced an incredible 24 hours.

After originally signing for City from MLS New York City on Tuesday afternoon, the midfielder has now completed a loan move to the Championship in the same evening.

Harrison was viewed as one of the best prospects in the top American league last season, scoring 10 goals in the process.

In his debut season, he was nominated for the Rookie of the Year award and the MLS Goal of the Season award.

He is a full-fledged England Under-21 international, having made his debut for Aidy Boothroyd’s side in October last year.
