Aston Villa’s Micah Richards hit with FA improper conduct charge after tunnel bust-up

Micah Richards is facing a ban after being charged with improper conduct by the Football Association.
The Aston Villa captain was reported to have confronted rival Federico Fernandez in the tunnel following his side's 2-1 defeat to Swansea on Saturday.
Richards had earlier clashed with Fernandez on the pitch and had to be dragged away by teammates.
The FA studied that initial incident and decided not to take any action against Richards or Fernandez as the panel did not find either player had committed an act of violent conduct.
However, Richards will face action for appearing to continue the argument after the match.
He is now likely to be hit with a suspension - another blow for Villa, who are bottom of the Premier League and without a manager following Tim Sherwood's sacking.
