Revealed! All 20 MLS clubs ranked by average attendance from worst to first

It’s boom time in America as the MLS broke several attendance records across the 2015 campaign.

No longer the ugly sister to European and South American leagues, Major League Soccer is attracting interest at home and abroad.

An influx of stars has helped the average attendance increase 12.7 per cent from 19,147 to 21,574 this year, although this was aided by new teams such as the Frank Lampard and Andrea Pirlo inspired New York City FC and Orlando City, who can count Kaka and Canadian starlet Cyle Larin amongst their ranks.

Major League Soccer’s impressive growth also means it’s has the seventh highest average attendance of all leagues globally, above Ligue 1 and the Championship.
