Transfer report: Leicester City plotting move for Thorgan Hazard as they prepare for Riyad Mahrez exit

Leicester City have set their sights on Eden Hazard's brother Thorgan as a direct replacement for wantaway midfielder Riyad Mahrez.

The Algerian, 26, is reportedly still reeling from Leicester's decision to block a move to Manchester City last month and he is now expected to leave at the end of the season.

City are reportedly keen on again trying to sign the troubled star and the Foxes are bracing themselves for another fight to try and ward off interest in their prize asset.

However, it would appear Leicester are resigned to losing Mahrez and have begun their search for his replacement.

And, according to Kicker, the former Premier League champions are eyeing a move for Hazard.

The Borussia Monchengladbach star has been tipped to join his older brother in the Premier League for some time now and a proposed move to the King Power could be on the agenda in the summer.
