On Tuesday, French newspaper L’Equipe released a list revealing the highest paid players in Ligue 1 this season. 

The report details just how much players are paid per month, before tax, and the results certainly make for interesting viewing.

Arsenal and Liverpool transfer target Thomas Lemar fails to make the cut, while there are surprise appearances for a Crystal Palace flop and a former Hull player.
