Manchester United transfer rumours: Six possible replacements for Paul Pogba if he joins Real Madrid

The future of Manchester United star Paul Pogba has come under intense scrutiny in the past week, with rumours of a big-money move to Real Madrid beginning to circulate.

Reports in France claim the 24-year-old ‘regrets’ his move back to Manchester United, with L’Equipe going as far as to claim he wishes he had gone to the Spanish capital instead.

After just 18 months at Old Trafford, it seems as though the wheels are beginning to come off Pogba’s return to Manchester and the vultures are beginning to circle.

Although Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has dismissed the chances of Pogba making a move to Los Blancos, there is certainly no smoke without fire.

So if Pogba is to move on from the Red Devils once again, presumably for a huge sum, who could come in to replace him?
