Leicester City FC transfer news: Premier League side is targeting Rafa Silva, confirms agent

The agent of Leicester City target Rafa Silva has confirmed interest in his client from the Premier League.

The Benfica midfielder has long been linked with a move to England and in his younger days Liverpool and Manchester United were reportedly tracking him.

Now it is Leicester who are chasing the Portugal international, while Championship leaders Wolves are interested too.

And Silva’s agent, Antonio Araujo, has now confirmed that Premier League sides are trying to sign his client.

“Even now, in the January market, the clubs that contacted us, the Premier League, were and are still interested in taking him,” Araujo told Radio Renascenca according to A Bola.

“It is a well-known situation of the club and it is understood that it is not the moment to make the transfer of the Rafa.”
