Liverpool and Tottenham are chasing Lille midfielder Sofiane Boufal, claim reports in France.

The playmaker has been in fine form for the Ligue 1 side this season, scoring four goals in 12 games and becoming the focal point of Les Dogues' attack.

The 22-year-old only joined Lille from Angers in the summer but is already being tipped with a big-money move next summer.

According to France Football, Spurs have been tracking Boufal since the start of the season and Liverpool have now declared an interest in the player.

However, Paris Saint-Germain are in pole position to land Boufal as they are guaranteed to be able to offer him Champions League football and a high salary.
