‘Exactly the appointment we should be making’ – Fans react to Thomas Tuchel to Arsenal rumours

Reports from Germany say former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel has turned down Bayern Munich because he is in talks to become the next Arsenal boss.

Although he is currently out of work, the 44-year-old is regarded as one of the bright young managers in Europe. 

Of course, when a rumour like this surfaces, many have their say on social media and it's fair to say this once has produced a mixed response. 

Some fans are very excited at this move but this is undoubtedly them expressing sheer relief at the prospect of the increasingly unpopular Arsene Wenger leaving the club. 

Others are less than convinced, however. One fan pointed out that Tuchel has only won one major trophy as a manager which was the DFB-Pokal Cup last season. 

Another fan pointed out how the Gunners' head of recruitment Sven Mislintat left Dortmund last season because him and Tuchel fell out frequently, meaning a move to Arsenal for Tuchel may not materialise.
