Arsenal FC news: Gunners boss Arsene Wenger reveals club are negotiating a long-term deal for Aaron Ramsey

Arsenal are confident they can tie down Aaron Ramsey on a long-term contract and avoid losing another star name like Alexis Sanchez.
The Welsh wizard has 18 months left on his current deal, and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has revealed talks are underway.
When asked about a new deal for Ramsey, Wenger said: "We are communicating.
"Yes, I'm confident, he's not at the end of his contract, he has one-and-a-half years to go. From my side it is clear, but you always have to find an agreement.
"We want him to stay. He's one of these guys who has been here for a long time. He will be an important player in the future of this club."
The north London outfit recently tied Mesut Ozil down to a long-term contract, after months of speculation and negotiations.
Ramsey outlined his quality and value to the side with a fantastic display in the Europa League thrashing of CSKA Moscow on Thursday night.
Manchester United, Juventus and Chelsea have all been linked with moves for the 27-year-old.
