New deal: Arsenal defender Rob Holding signs long-term contract

Arsenal defender Rob Holding has signed a new long-term contract with the Premier League club.
The Gunners confirmed the news on Tuesday afternoon, although did not reveal the specific length of the 22-year-olds deal.
Holding joined Arsenal from Bolton Wanderers in July 2016 and has gone on to make 42 first-team appearances for the north London side.
He has also made five international appearances for Englands Under-21s and was part of the squad that reached the semi-finals of the 2017 European Under-21 Championship in Poland.
Holding has made 24 appearances for the Gunners this season, including ten in the Premier League.
An Arsenal statement read: We would like to congratulate Rob on his new contract and look forward to his continued contribution in the coming years.
