Benfica want rid of Adel Taarabt just seven months after handing former QPR bad boy five-year deal

Benfica have offered former Tottenham and QPR flop Adel Taarabt to MLS clubs.
The Morocco international only signed a five-year contract with the Portuguese giants last summer after leaving Loftus Road.
?But since joining Benfica the 26-year-old has struggled for action and he is currently training with the reserves.
A return to AC Milan looked on the cards for Taarabt during the January transfer window, but the move broke down over wage demands.
Benfica remain desperate to shift the attacking midfielder, though, and are helping him find a new club.
The Lisbon side have, according to Portuguese newspaper Record, contacted clubs in the MLS over a move as their transfer window does not shut until February 18.
Taarabt is now expected to consider his options before informing Benfica of his plans.
