Wolves to sign Raul Jimenez on loan from Benfica as Premier League new-boys continue preparations for top flight
The Mexico forward is set to leave Benfica three years after joining from Atletico Madrid, with Wolves close to confirming the signing of the 27-year-old forward

Wolverhampton Wanderers are continuing their preparations for their return to the Premier League by signing Raul Jimenez on loan from Benfica.
Jimenez, the Mexico forward, has played for the Portuguese giants for the last three years, leaving Atletico Madrid for Benfica in the summer of 2015.
He scored just six league goals in 2017/18, and the 27-year-old’s overall Benfica record reads 31 goals and 15 assists in 120 appearances.
And now Jimenez will continue his career in England with Wolves, according to .
He will sign for the Premier League new-boys on a season-long loan deal, with the deal including an option to buy him outright for around £31m (€35m). The report states that the negotiation process, which has been led by Jorge Mendes, is already ‘complete’.
Jimenez has been named in the Mexico squad for this summer’s World Cup.
