Poland vs Senegal: World Cup preview, predicted team line ups, key players, plus more
It’s the second game of Group H at the finals and we’ve got all the latest news ahead of the match in Moscow

We’re six days into World Cup 2018 and we’re already getting set for the last match in round one as Poland face Senegal in Group H.
Widely seen as the most open foursome in the tournament, it’s going to be a fun match as the Europeans take on their African opponents in Moscow.
The players will know the outcome of Colombia and Japan and the result could have a bearing on the kind of match we see at the Otkirite Stadium.
What the managers are saying
Adam Nawalka (Poland): "All players are in a great form. I am sure that we have prepared well. Senegal is a team that is capable of attacking very fast, and they have very dangerous players.
“I believe that the team is well-balanced and well-prepared, and I'm sure the match is going to be very difficult tomorrow, but I believe that we will come out victorious."
Aliou Cisse (Senegal): “Senegal isn’t only Sadio Mane, though, he has a good team built around him and I think it should be a little plus for him that we’re all behind him.”
Predicted XIs
Poland: Wojciech Szczesny; Maciej Rybus, Michal Pazdan, Jan Bednarek, Lukasz Piszczek; Kamil Grosicki, Jacek Goralski, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Jakub Blaszczykowski, Piotr Zielinski; Robert Lewandowski.
Senegal: Khadim Ndiaye; Lamine Gassama, Kara Mbodji, Kalidou Koulibaly, Youssouf Sabaly; Pape Alioune Ndiaye, Cheikhou Kouyate, Gana Idrissa Gueye; Keita Balde, M’Baye Niang, Sadio Mane.

Key player
Poland: When you have Robert Lewandowski in your side then you’ve got a chance. He scored 16 goals in 10 qualifying games and was responsible for 64 per cent of Poland’s goals. According to Nawalka, the 27-year-old is “the best striker in the world,” which is hard to disagree with.
Senegal: One prong of the blistering Liverpool strike force, Sadio Mane comes into the World Cup on the back of a 20-goal season with the Reds, ten of which came in the Champions League.
Mane’s pace, dribbling ability and eye for goal should be enough to translate his club form to the international stage, capable of creating something from nothing. His 14 goals from 51 caps trail only Moussa Sow (18 goals) in the current squad.
