Eden Hazard admits Real Madrid move of interest as Belgium star warns Chelsea must improve

The playmaker has suggested he could be on the move this summer

Eden Hazard says Real Madrid "know what they have to do" if they want to sign him from Chelsea.

The Belgian playmaker has yet to pen a new deal at Stamford Bridge, with his current contract due to expire in 2020.

Hazard has now revealed he is waiting to discover who will be Chelsea's manager next season before deciding on his future and will only extend his stay if there are improvements at the Premier League club.

And he has admitted he is open to a move to Real Madrid if the Spanish giants, who have regularly been linked with the 27-year-old, come calling.

In an interview with L'Equipe, the Belgium World Cup ace said: "I wait to see whether the [Chelsea] coach will stay or leave.

"If I stay it's for the club to be better than last season. I don't want to stay for us to be poorer.

"Real Madrid could interest me, the world knows that. But if tomorrow this club does not want me any longer then we will not speak about it any longer.

"If they want to buy me they know what they need to do. I don't want to go there just for the sake of it. There needs to be a project.

"There is still a project at Chelsea [two years left on his contract]. If I have a good World Cup, things will become easier."
