Arsenal transfer report: Jack Wilshere’s shock move to Fenerbahce could be announced on Monday
The England midfielder has reportedly agreed a free transfer to the Turkish Super Lig side after leaving Arsenal this summer

Jack Wilshere is set to complete a surprise move to Fenerbahce on Monday, according to reports in Turkey.
The 26-year-old is said to have agreed a free transfer to the Turkish Super Lig side, having left Arsenal this summer after 17 years at the north London club.
Wilshere has been linked with a host of clubs in the Premier League and oversees, with the likes of West Ham, Wolves, Juventus, Inter Milan and Real Betis reportedly interested.
But reports over the weekend claimed Fenerbahce were now leading the race to sign the England international.
And, according to Turkish journalist Volkan Demir, Wilshere has signed the contract and his switch will be announced on Monday.
Wilshere’s Arsenal contract officially ended on Saturday and the midfielder sent a message of thanks to Gunners fans on Sunday.
"First day in 17 years not being an Arsenal player,” the message read.
"Ups and downs but I enjoyed every minute of it."
The 26-year-old also revealed how he is "willing to go abroad" – perhaps hinting he is ready to kick-start his career in Turkey.
He told Sky Sports News: "I am willing to go abroad if the right opportunity comes up. Also, everyone knows I like the Premier League and the battle of it.
"It is literally the best thing that comes up and the best opportunity that we will take.
“I am not really in any rush, today (Saturday) is actually my last day with my contract at Arsenal, so it's been a bit of a strange day.
"I have played 10 years as a professional there and had 17 years at the club. We are looking at things and I am keeping myself fit. So if something does come up I am ready to go."
But his links to Fenerbahce have not gone down well with a former Arsenal midfielder, who has told talkSPORT moving to the Super Lig would be a 'backwards step' for Wilshere's career.
Footballer-turned-broadcaster Adrian Clarke said the England man would be 'choosing money over his career' if he joined the Turkish club and urged him to 'move to a proper league' instead.
