Leeds United transfer news: Former Manchester City forward Felipe Caicedo ‘would welcome’ summer move to Elland Road amid reported Whites interest

Lazio forward Felipe Caicedo is open to joining Leeds United this summer, according to reports.
Caicedo, the Ecuador international, has been linked with a switch to Elland Road following the appointment of Marcelo Bielsa as the Yorkshire club's new manager.
Currently contracted to Lazio, having joined them from Espanyol of Spain last summer, Caicedo started only four league matches last term and is viewed as surplus to requirements in Rome.
And, according to Diario La Grada (as quoted by ), Caicedo 'would welcome the possibility' of a summer move to Leeds as it would mean a return to England for the 29-year-old.

Caicedo spent two-and-a-half years contracted to reigning Premier League champions Manchester City between January 2008 and the summer of 2011, scoring seven goals in 34 matches for the Etihad Stadium club.
The majority of his time with City was spent on loan with various clubs, with Caicedo joining Sporting CP, Malaga and Levante, before leaving for Lokomotiv Moscow permanently seven years ago.
Leeds have already completed one signing this summer, with Lewis Baker brought in on a loan deal from Chelsea, while the Elland Road club are said to be in talks to buy forwards Matej Vydra from Derby and Jerry Mbakogu from Carpi.
