Chelsea transfer news: Maurizio Sarri has Inter star Matias Vecino at top of his summer wish list

Maurizio Sarri wants to make Matias Vecino one of his first signings as Chelsea manager, according to reports.
Sarri is set to be named as Antonio Conte's replacement in the coming weeks, and he is reportedly already drawing up a list of players he wants to bring to Stamford Bridge this summer.
And, according to , Internazionale's Vecino is at the top of the wish list Sarri will deliver to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.
Vecino, 26, is currently starring for Uruguay at the World Cup, helping the South Americans into the quarter-finals of the Russia-hosted tournament.

The midfielder, who joined Inter from Fiorentina last summer, has started all four of La Celeste's matches, catching the eye with some impressive performances in the centre of the park.
Sarri worked with Vecino while the pair were at Empoli, and he reportedly tried to sign him for Napoli while manager of the San Paolo club.
Chelsea have yet to complete a signing this summer, though deals are reportedly being worked on for Gonzalo Higuain, the Juventus forward, as well as goalkeeper Alisson, currently contracted to Roma.
