Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc signs new contract with French champions

Laurent Blanc has penned a new two-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
The 50-year-old has enjoyed much success since replacing Carlo Ancelotti at the helm of the French giants in June 2013.
He led them to a league and League Cup double in his debut campaign at the helm and last term he guided them to a domestic quadruple of league, League Cup, French Cup and Champions Trophy.
PSG are on course to win the league again this season after building a 24-point lead over nearest rivals Monaco, while they are also through to the last 16 of the Champions League and are still in contention for the French Cup and League Cup.
Blanc, who served as France coach between 2010 and 2012, has now penned an extension tying him to the club until June 2018.
Jose Mourinho has been linked with the PSG post, but the new deal for Blanc ends speculation the former Chelsea boss could be on his way to the Parc des Princes.
