Liverpool transfer news: World record deal for Alisson, Nabil Fekir latest, plus Daniel Sturridge to stay?
The latest rumours and news involving the Reds as they look to continue their spending spree
Liverpool have been busy in the transfer market this summer.
Three players have arrived - Naby Keita, Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri - at a combined cost of around £110million, while a host of players have departed.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is not planning to stop there, though, as he bids to win his first piece of silverware at Anfield this season.
Klopp is reportedly targeting a new goalkeeper to replace the error-prone Loris Karius and is understood to be eyeing another playmaker in the mould of Philippe Coutinho, who left for Barcelona in January.
The German is also looking to offload some of his squad players, with Danny Ings, Daniel Sturridge and Lazar Markovic among those tipped to go.
There is certainly plenty of speculation in the media involving Liverpool at the moment.
marvelbet369.com takes a look at the latest rumours and news....
Alisson to sign from Roma?
Liverpool have made a £62million bid for the Roma goalkeeper but there is still work to be done to get a deal over the line.
It is a world record fee for a 'keeper, but Roma are understood to want even more money for the 25-year-old Brazil international, who is also on Chelsea's radar.
According to , Liverpool are eager to get a deal done quickly as they fear Chelsea will make a move if they lose Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid.
The Times' report also claims that Liverpool are Alisson’s preferred club and that he has already spoken with Klopp.
Nabil Fekir deal back on?
This saga has been going on all summer and is not over yet.
Liverpool agreed a £53million fee with Lyon for the French playmaker before the World Cup but pulled the plug on the transfer after he underwent a medical.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has refused to rule out the deal being revived, however, and L'Equipe claims Liverpool have been given until the end of the month to reignite their interest.
Jurgen Klopp has since signed Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City but is still chasing a playmaker in the mould of Philippe Coutinho and could yet return for Fekir.
Danny Ings to exit?
Having suffered numerous injury setbacks at Liverpool, Ings is expected to leave Anfield this summer to pursue first-team football.
Klopp is eager to keep hold of the former Burnley striker but will not stand in his way if a club come calling and he wants to go.
Southampton have been linked with Ings but their reported interest was on Monday.
Crystal Palace are another rumoured destination for the 25-year-old. As yet, though, there has been no concrete move from any club for the one-cap England international.
Lazar Markovic to exit?
The Serbian winger is back at Melwood after loan spells with Fenerbahce, Sporting Lisbon, Hull City and Anderlecht - but is not expected to stay for long.
He has no future at the club under Klopp and it is only a matter of time before he seals another move away.
Liverpool are keen to offload him permanently but, with a year still to run on his contract, may have sanction another loan deal.
Anderlecht, Galatasaray and Udinese are all reportedly interested in the 24-year-old, who cost Liverpool £20million back in 2014.
Daniel Sturridge to stay?
Sturridge had been another player expected to depart this summer, but he could now remain at Anfield.
The 28-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at West Brom after struggling to get any game time under Klopp and has been linked with a summer switch to Besiktas.
However, he has returned for pre-season training with the Reds and appears intent on forcing his way back into Klopp's plans.
Speaking this week, he said: "I see myself staying at Liverpool, hopefully being part of the team week in, week out.
"Pre-season is going well, so for me it's keeping my head down and building on that. I'm excited about the season ahead and it feels great to be back."
