Fantasy Premier League tips: 10 set-piece takers you should sign for 2018/19
These men are wizards from a dead ball and could come up trump in FPL

As World Cup 2018 proved, set-pieces are becoming more and more important in football.
Every club has a specialist, although some are much better than others and when it comes to Fantasy Premier League, these takers offer significant value.

Having a top dead ball taker in your squad will seriously increase your chances of getting more goals and assists - and this means a lot more points.
So which stars should you be signing, or at the very least keeping an eye on? Find out below with our top tips.
The German didn’t have a great campaign last time out but has a new boss and will want to prove critics in England and his homeland wrong. He’s never scored below 100 points and is now available at a cheaper price than ever before. For a man who is set to take corners and free-kicks we reckon the price is pretty decent and he could be a big hit.
Joshua King (Bournemouth) - £6.5million

He didn’t quite live up to his 2016/17 form last season but he still notched 110 points, not bad if you have him as a substitute forward. He also scored two penalties last year and is more than capable at other set-pieces too.
Pascal Gross (Brighton) - £7million

Maybe not quite the bargain he was last season, Gross is still set to take set-pieces on the south coast and could get around the 164 points he did in the Seagulls’ first Premier League campaign. He should be on free-kicks, corners, and penalties too if Glenn Murray doesn’t play.
Luka Milivojevic (Crystal Palace) - £6.5million

The Serbian international smashed home seven spot-kicks last season and while a similar tally is unlikely this term he’s a reliable pick, although he did miss one (against Manchester City).
The Cottagers have, rather impressively, hung onto the talented midfielder and as they go into their first season back in the Premier League he’s likely to be heavily involved at set-pieces, although Stefan Johansen will also seem some action in these areas.
Aaron Mooy (Huddersfield) - £5.5million

The Australian midfielder impressed in his first Premier League campaign and is set to be key again for the Terriers. He’s not only set to be on dead balls, but he should be taking penalties too.
James Maddison (Leicester City) - £6.5million

It’s likely the ex-Norwich man will go straight into the first XI for the Foxes, playing behind Jamie Vardy. If this does happen he’ll also be a replacement for Riyad Mahrez on set-pieces. He was a main taker for the Canaries and will be a huge creative threat in open play too.
Mohamed Elyounoussi (Southampton) - £6.5million

Keep tabs on this one and bear him in mind once the season begins. He does take set-pieces and is pretty handy but currently trying to work out who will do most of the deadball work at St Mary’s is proving tough.
When he returns from his holidays, there will be plenty of Spurs fans clamouring for him to take more set-pieces. The right-back has rarely taken them but showed his talents at the World Cup – although he won’t have Harry Maguire to aim at this time. Christian Eriksen has also said he’s willing to share some of the duties but this means Trippier will miss out a lot, so be careful.
Ruben Neves (Wolverhampton Wanderers) - £5million

Okay, he missed a penalty last year so might not take those but with Barry Douglas sold to Leeds United he’s almost certainly going to be their set-piece superstar.
