Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Fulham: Mauricio Pochettino’s men rated and slated after Premier League London derby victory

How did Spurs fare with all of their World Cup stars back in action?

Tottenham Hotspur produced a fantastic, free-flowing performance to defeat a plucky Fulham side who can leave Wembley with their heads held high.

Lucas Moura opened the scoring for the hosts with a fantastic left-footed effort just before the end of a first half in which Spurs dominated.

It was a job well done for Spurs

But Mauricio Pochettino would have been disappointed to see his side allow last season's Championship Play-off final winners back into the game.

A glorious passing move saw the Whites escape form virtually their own goal line before Aleksandr Mitrovic headed home Joe Bryan's peach of a cross.

However, just like he did for England in the World Cup semi-final, Kieran Trippier whipped home a gorgeous free-kick to restore Tottenham's lead.

Harry Kane completed the victory, finally getting his elusive August goal after a tidy finish past the hapless Fabri.

But how did the rest of the Spurs players fare?

Scroll down to find out!

Hugo Lloris - 7

Was as commanding and efficient as ever - defended his 18-yard box extremely well from the pacy Fulham attackers

Toby Alderweireld - 7

Restored to the team after a lengthy absence, his mere presence exudes calm amongst his teammates

Jan Vertonghen - 7

Calm and assured as ever, seems to have picked off exactly where he left off last season. Arguably one of Tottenham's most reliable and consistent performers.

Davinson Sanchez - 6

Got drawn into a physical battle with Mitrovic, but coped reasonably well. Will be disappointed to have lost his man for the equalizer

Kieran Trippier - 8

The 'Bury Beckham' was absolutely sensational down Spurs' right-hand side and scored a wonderful free-kick to put his side back in the lead. Anyone else get a tinge of nostalgia when it hit the back of the net?

Ben Davies - 8

Started the game like a man possessed, pushing Fulham back at every opportunity. Has officially made the left-back spot his own and could force Danny Rose out of the club at this rate.

Dele Alli - 8

May not have got on the scoresheet, but the England man was flowing with confidence and looks ready to step up to the plate for his side when they need him. Produced more flicks than a Strictly Come Dancing routine.

Eric Dier - 5

Looked lost in midfield without an anchoring partner, Tom Cairney and the Fulham forwards ran rings around him at times. It made for bleak reading when it was revealed the visitors had 70% at the start of the second half.

Christian Eriksen - 6

Not one of his better games, the Dane was rather on the periphery given his usual high standards. Did not get across quick enough to stop the cross which resulted in the goal.

Lucas Moura -8

What a game the Brazilian had, continuing where he left off after a wonderful pre-season. Pochettino may not have made any signings in the summer, but Moura's resurgence will feel like a new acquisition,.

Harry Kane - 7

Like Eriksen, the England captain was rather on the periphery of the game for the most part. But like all world-class strikers, he pops up with a goal when needed. Once he gets back to full fitness, you can see Kane pushing Salah for the Golden Boot all the way

(SUB) Mousa Dembele - 8

Changed the game when he came on, Tottenham's switch to a flat back four helped him take control of the game by the scruff of the neck. Came back to haunt his old side.

Tenacious and filled with pace, you feel as though Pochettino could happily cope with multiple Erik Lamela's in his side. Helped set up Kane's goal.
