According to reports in France, the Foxes launched an ambitious bid to lure Russia's playmaker to the King Power

Leicester City failed with an approach for Russia star Aleksandr Golovin this summer.
The midfielder was hot property in the most recent transfer window after shining at the World Cup.
Chelsea and Juventus were heavily linked with the 22-year-old, who eventually left CSKA Moscow to join Monaco for around £25m.
And, according to L’Equipe, Leicester also failed with an approach for Golovin this summer.

The Foxes were reportedly tracking the Russian in the hope they could lure him to the King Power Stadium.
However, Golovin was said to be keen to play in the Champions League and that swayed in Monaco’s favour.
