It's vital to get the balance of your squad right now, especially as a busy festive period looms.

Out: Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham) – £6.9m

Sadly, it might be time to give up on the Serbian. A good start has faded away and the Cottagers are in a battle against relegation now. This could see the way they play change and may result in fewer chances for the striker, too. Add the fact Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United are coming up in their fixtures and he’s a definitely for your outs.

In: Callum Wilson (Bournemouth) – £6.6m

Surely an England call-up is on the way for Wilson., who now has five goals and seven assists this season as he links well with Ryan Fraser and David Brooks. His creative improvement makes him a duel threat so right now he’s a must-have.

Out: Lucas Moura (Tottenham) – £7.2m

He’s not playing badly for Spurs but the Brazilian attacker’s form doesn’t get you FPL points. Without a goal or assist since gameweek four it’s time to ditch him.

In: Ross Barkley (Chelsea) – £5.9m

Yep, you guessed it. The Premier League’s in-form star is now a must-sign player. Three goals and three assists in three games show just how hot he is and at such a low price you have to give him a shot.

Out: Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) – £9.3m

The Brazilian hasn’t scored since gameweek five and hasn’t been credited with an assist since gameweek three. You need a forward to score you goals and Firmino just isn’t giving us a reason to keep him.

In: Alvaro Morata (Chelsea) – £8.7m

Now, this might sound crazy, but a quick one-week transfer in for the Spaniard might just win you a quick few points. Likely to start as Olivier Giroud is injured, Morata will face Crystal Palace with renewed confidence having scored two goals in his last three Premier League appearances. Only owned by a minority of managers he could get you vital unmatched points.

Out: Jose Holebas (Watford) – £5.1m

As we feared, Holebas’ suspension appears to have cost him his place in the Hornets' side with Adam Masina taking over in his absence and helping them to victories over Wolves and Huddersfield.

In: Kiko Femenia (Watford) – £4.2m

One of the cheapest starting defenders out there and an ownership of just 0.9 per cent, this could be the bargain of the century and help you build your squad.

Out: Henrikh Mkhitaryan (Arsenal) – £6.8m

In and out of the Gunners’ side, you just can’t rely on the Armenian starting games and getting you regular points.

In: Gylfi Sigurdsson (Everton) – £7.4m

We hate being proved wrong but the Icelandic star is managing to continue his recent revival. Watch out for games against Chelsea and Liverpool coming up though.
